To my parents
You never once asked me to explain what I was building, or when it would start paying for itself. You simply made room for it — in the house, in the day, in a hundred quiet decisions I was not meant to notice and mostly did not. The years this took were not only mine to spend, and you never once sent me the bill.
Everything here was made on the steadiness you provided. Whatever Prabhas SaaS becomes, that part is already settled.
To our Chartered Accountant
Software that keeps other people's books has to be right in a way that most software never has to be. You sat with the questions that had no interesting answers — how a credit note really behaves, what a place of supply does to a line item, why a trial balance that is out by a third of a paisa is not nearly balanced but simply wrong — and you answered them until the answers held.
You turned an idea about accounting into something an accountant can actually stand behind. The rigour in these products is borrowed from you, and we intend to keep earning it.
And to everyone who used it early
To the first businesses who put real invoices and real books into something new, and wrote to us when it broke: you were the reason it got good. Thank you for your patience, and for your trust — which is the harder of the two to give.
With gratitude,
Venkatesh Radhakrishnan
